Ways to discover purpose

I made a rose flower out of pieces of cloth and kept it in a box. A friend of mine opened that box and said, "this is beautiful", the next sentence that followed this was, "but what is it used for?"
This will explain to us that the purpose of anything is being discovered. No matter how little something might seem to be, to know its purpose you must have to go through somethings to discover its use. Taking sand for example, sand to some people it's useful while to some others it is just the covering of the earth. It took time for people who discovered the use of sand to know that it is useful. Probably, first they discovered clay for moulding and later discovered that not all sand is clay and not all is used for moulding. As time went on, they might have experimented on other kinds of sand that is not clay and found out their uses too. If the purpose of clay could be discovered, what more of us humans who our creator has given the earth as a gift. Man took time to discover what clay could be used for so why can't we take out time to discover our purpose on earth too.

There are ways to discover why the creator has sent you to as a gift to the world.

First and foremost, to make work easier, you have to seek the help of a producer to discover the reason why he created a product. What do I mean? I mean that for you to discover who you are and what your purpose is, you have to seek the help of the creator. He alone knows the reason for your creation and he alone can help and guide you into fulfilling that purpose. God is our creator, our manufacturer. He alone can help you become what he wants you to be.

Secondly, I remember a time a bought a cloth hanger and didn't know how to fix it. The first thing that came to mind was the manual of that product, as soon as I got the manual and opened it, I saw some directions on how to fix it and get it ready for use. This only means that for every product, there's a manual. Same with us, God has created us and given us a manual to which is his word: the bible. The bible is the book of life, a book with blessed information that will lead to eternal life. The bible is the manual God has given to us to direct and guide us. It plays a very big part in purpose discovery. God said in his word that before you were born he knew you, so we need to use our manual well to get a good result in the end.

Thirdly, there is, in every human being, an inherent ability, a natural ability called potential. Potential is inborn, an ability that came into the world in you, something you find yourself doing that wasn't learnt or acquired through studying and so on. What am I talking about potential? Potential can be one of the things that points to your purpose. Some people have beauty, music, creativity and so many others as potentials. God built it in you so that you can use it for him.

Fourthly, there's always this desire to do things you love, a desire that burns like fire inside of you that makes you want to do something you love in any situation happily. This desire is called passion. Passion can also serve as an indicator to our life purpose because anything you love doing so well without minding who is there, what they will say or what what you will gain can be the reason why God created you to be you.

Place of pain: we all have this thing that eats up our eyes when we see someone doing it wrong. For example, imagine a singer who sings like her life depends on it seeing someone who came for a competition and sings very badly, how do you think she would feel? Let's say in a group where everyone is learning, you love speaking to people but other people are begged to speak to the public in your presence, how would you feel? Of course, it will give you a kind of pain that you might not understand, you will ask yourself why is this person is being begged to do this while you are here all along. This can also be an indicator to your purpose.

Finally, I want to conclude by saying that purpose is not created but discovered. We all have our different purpose and our creator needs to benefit from that purpose, his kingdom has to benefit from it, if not it means you are not using your purpose for the right thing.
